It’s that time: this is your last regular share.
Hopefully the gorgeous Autumn we’ve been having will continue on for many weeks, ensuring one last “Winter” share that includes bulk onions, plants in the brassica family, potatoes, leeks and all the root veggies. Stay tuned…..
If you want more veggies in the next week, though, c’mon down to visit our LAST MARKET OF THE SEASON on Tuesday October 4th from 12-5 pm. We will have pies, pork, tea, soaps, golden beets, patti pan squash, broccoli, and a handful of other edibles that we grew in smaller numbers which didn’t make it into your share all the time. Also we will have FRESH EGGS for $5.00/dozen.
In your share today:
- parsnip (it looks ugly, but it’s delish!)
- napa cabbage
- swiss chard
- your choice of herbs
We are always appreciative of your support for the FortWhyte Farms youth program that connects young people with good food and good work.
Thanks for participating in The Goods!
